| Stone |
|
|
Kevin Kaye hand-picks stones from the shores of Lake Superior. Once he figures out the direction for a piece, the stones are drilled to accept a rod for the cord and then hand-carved to fit each other. There is no glue used to hold the lamp together. |
Haydn Larson - LaCrosse, FL |
Haydn Larson sculpts his original pieces in clay, then makes a mold in order to cast his artwork in crushed stone. The castings are
hand-stained, and rubbed to a rich patina. Every piece is unique.
